Grafik have recently redesigned their cover and style for the magazine. Top is the new design and blow is the previous design. I agree they needed a redesign but I really don't have much to say about the new design, which is never a good thing. The older avant garde type heavy style has been dropped in favour of putting the logo to the top left and using basic illustrations with pretty sickly colours. That said I think i'd have to see it in person and they were kind enough, however, to ask my opinion this month for the Viewpoint section for issue G178. The question was: 'What would be your sport in the graphic design olympics?'

My reply went something along the lines of: 'It would probably be either a ‘Lorem Ipsum’ recital or I would use some of my dusty discarded LP’s in a rudimentary discus competition (After keeping the artwork of course). Although it would probably never happen as I can’t imagine we’d ever agree on a logo.'
